RecognizeGood.org has named naturalist John Ahrns the June 2010 “Legends of RecognizeGood” honoree. John has served as the director and educator at the Westcave Preserve, a 75 acre nature preserve in western Travis County since 1976. John has dedicated 36 years to protecting this natural treasure in Central Texas. It is his sincere dedication to this cause that has earned him this recognition.
A “Legends of RecognizeGood” recipient is named each month. The award recognizes someone who does extraordinary acts of kindness, charity, and good deeds, or for continued service over a long period of time. The program hopes to create community awareness by illuminating these extraordinary people’s acts of kindness.
