Ethics in Business & Community Award Nominees: Individual

It’s official! Our 11th annual Ethics in Business & Community awards are happening this week! Today we’ll wrap up our series highlighting this year’s nominees. We’ll share with you community finalists nominated for the individual category:

Individual:

  • Mark Curry of Wells Fargo – Mark is the Community Bank President at Wells Fargo, a company that provides banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, and consumer and commercial finance through more than 9,000 stores and more than 12,000 ATMs across North America, and internationally through WellsFargo.com.
  • Matt Kouri of Greenlights for Nonprofits Success – Matt is the President and Executive Director of Greenlights for Nonprofits Success, where for six years he has led the organization’s efforts to strengthen nonprofits through extraordinary performance and impact, consults directly with several nonprofits, and develops leading-edge research and best practices in nonprofit management.
  • Adrian Mertz of Austin Area Home Health Council – Adrian is the President of Austin Area Home Health Council, whose goal is “Creating a community for networking for the Home Health Industry as well as coming together to raise money for non-profit organizations.”

All finalists are recognized and the recipients will be announced at the awards luncheon on May 2, 2013 at the AT&T Conference Center. Attended each year by hundreds of Texas business leaders, we anticipate 500 attendees this year. Proceeds from this event benefit the Samaritan Counseling Center. They are a non-profit counseling center providing professional counseling to prevent and treat abuse and strengthen families.  The Center serves children and adults who are struggling with problems such as  depression, abuse and addiction.  The Samaritan Center’s Hope for Heroes program has received statewide recognition.
