Peggy Wilson has been a pillar at Foundation Communities (FC) since she sauntered into the Jordan Learning Center to feed families in the Children’s Home Initiative in December of 2021. She has not only helped tutor, mentor and plan activities for the students in their programs but even created her own program that she now runs for their students! Peggy was asked by a student 2 years ago if they could go visit her at work since she visited them so often, so she turned that request into an annual summer event where Texas Mutual staff tour students through their nearby office, stopping to learn about various departments and ending with a speed networking event. Not only did Piggy create this beloved field trip for students each year, but she also started Foundation Communities Fan Club (FC²) which is comprised of Texas Mutual employees that volunteer in different capacities for Foundation Communities on an annual basis. In fact, Peggy now oversees all ongoing volunteerism for Texas Mutual’s support of Foundation Communities!
