The Ethics in Business & Community Awards Return In May

The Ethics in Business & Community platform is an annual honor for individuals and community organizations who have demonstrated exemplary ethical practices. The purpose of the EIBC Awards is to provide a forum for acknowledging these individuals and organizations. We wish to facilitate a greater community dialogue and awareness about ethics in our community. The Samaritan Counseling Center started Ethics in Business in 1991. RecognizeGood: THE Foundation adopted the program on the event’s 10th anniversary.

The Central Texas Ethics in Business awards program annually honors organizations and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary ethical practices. The purpose of the EIB Award is to acknowledge organizations and individuals that are exemplars of ethical practice. The award also encourages a dialogue about business ethics in our community. By recognizing such behavior, we all learn that doing the right thing is good business!

In 2007 the TyRex Group received an Ethics in Business award. This award created the cornerstone for the partnership between TyRex and the Samaritan Counseling Center. This partnership ultimately lead to the launch of RecognizeGood.

We are proud to be a part of the Ethics in Business & Community Awards, and what an honor it is to recognize the businesses in our community that really are making a good impact!
