Gaye Polan sorts, distributes thousands of donated clothing items at Trinity Center

Gaye Polan has been an invaluable volunteer at Trinity Center since 2014, offering her expertise and assistance in various areas.

RecognizeGood, along with Gaye’s fellow volunteers and Trinity Center staff, gathered to express gratitude to Gaye and presented her with a $1,000 pay-it-forward donation in her name to Trinity Center Austin. With just a few minutes of everyone’s time, Gaye’s impact was acknowledged in a heartfelt but humble way that undoubtedly fit her behind-the-scenes style. Christian Rodriguez, executive director at Trinity Center, pointed out her dedication even through the Covid-19 pandemic. “She was here serving right up until we had to close in-person volunteering,” he said. “And as soon as we were able to open back up again she was the first volunteer to come back. She’s invaluable!”
